Apple Turnovers (with handmade Puff Pastry including an INSANE amount of butter)

  1. MMmmmmmm butter, and lots of it! The handmade puff pastry was decadent. You can never have too much butter in my opinion. The cream puffs were perfect and the filling was unlike the frozen cream puffs you buy. It was denser and just the right compliment to the airy cream puffs. I loved the vanilla creme brulle and the Charlotte Royale was beautiful. It kind of looked a bit like a brain to me. What a professional tasting and visually enticing assortment. I would never attempt any of these myself. Thank you!

  2. Hooray! Someone else thought the Charlotte Royale looked like a brain. I am sure it must have been delicious though. The cream puffs looked absolutely wonderful. I bet they tasted as good as they looked! Everthing looked lovely and presentation is the first hurdle. You are definitely over the first fence. Lovely!
