Amsterdam Day 2

We are back in our room after a full day in Amsterdam. Our room is on the second floor here:
 What a city!
Thousands of bikes everywhere and cars that make a Smart Car look huge
We went to the Van Gogh Museum today and wandering around the city. We came across the flower markets, which I will have to return to because I took horrid and boring pictures. Also stumbled across the Red Light district and I have no pictures of that to share either!

Here's Jason in the little kitchen we have here:
And here is the breakfast our host left in the fridge for us... my vegetarianism is on hold whilst in Europe by the way. As they say "When in Rome!":
And here is a little parrot that watched us eat breakfast through the window on our balcony (look closely):

  1. I love that your vegetarianism is on hold now. How is that coming along? Also, too bad you didn't get any pictures of the Red Light District to share. Is what I said about the bottom/top floors true? =) Keep posting! All the pictures look awesome.

  2. My compliment for your blog and pictures included,I encourage you to photoblog

    Even week another photo album

    Greetings from Italy,

  3. Dalia - You're actually not allowed to take any pictures in the red light district! I was super paranoid I was in a red light district so didn't go too crazy with the pictures in Amsterdam =/ And yes, I think what you said was true. It was disturbing.. I'll have to tell you all about when I get back.
